Q What kind of roleplay server is this?
A This is a Serious Roleplay server that doesn't rely on the "rp>script" principle. I believe that if things are done right, we can have fun with the script while still roleplaying seriously.

Q What Fallout game is this roleplay going to be based on?
A We will be loosely following Fallout 3 with a hypothetical continuation of the story, a canon which I have made up myself. It will take place a few years after the events of Fallout 3, nobody knows what the Lone Wanderer did during those past years. The setting is still being decided, but it will likely be in New Jersey or Massachusetts.

Q Will Sovereigns have any issues with other communities?
A I'm hoping there won't be any problems, I really don't like drama between roleplaying communities. I did come from another serious roleplaying community, and left peacefully. There shouldn't be any problems in the future. If another community does start causing problems then don't feed the fire, ignore them.

Q There are some cases in-game where you don't have to /me, how is this roleplay?
A Remember that this isn't just regular Serious RP, your gaming experience is not going to be so "pen-and-paper" like other RP servers. Here we try not to restrict our players too much in how they roleplay and have fun, so under certain circumstances you don't necessarily have to /me. Just because you don't have to /me doesn't mean you can't, feel free. Just remember under some of those circumstances you may get killed whilst typing a 'novel' of a /me.

Q What is your policy for joining factions?
A I will be quite honest, it will be difficult getting into the Brotherhood of Steel or the Enclave. Being in those factions require utmost responsibility and maturity, mainly due to the fact that your character is significantly more powerful than most Wastelanders. Some trusted members will be allowed to apply around the time the server is launched, but for most people they will have to play on the server for a minimum of 5 days before they may apply for a faction character. Experience with other communities and server factions will help on your application.

Q Will there be other factions to apply for in the future?
A Yes, and it will be even harder to get into: Super Mutants. Past experiences in another community discouraged me from even considering them, people had a tough time remaining serious with them. I now feel that Super Mutants can be added to the server and work well under very strict management, so expect them to be in the Wasteland some time after the server is launched. All other factions will be created in-game, if you want to make your own then you need to have the caps and supplies to run it.

Q Why are you using a free forum?
A Why not? (I'll probably get set up with an actual domain when the server is up and running.)
